The Planetary Week for a Better World is a project of a previously unseen scale, a challenge at the planetary level, that takes place each year on the 5 continents and which, in 2019, will take place from June 1st to 9th. During the week, all organizations, businesses, local communities, the education and health sectors as well as all citizens are invited to take on new initiatives and to make decisions in order to create a higher quality of life for each individual on the planet.

100 children, cyclists and over 20 actors from the sustainable development sector joined together to brainstorm climate solutions

On June 8th, a Day of Earth Care Awareness took place at the Jardin d'Agronomie Tropicale de Paris, in the heart of the Vincennes forest. Over 100 children from Living School and other primary schools from Paris, Vincennes and Nogent-sur-Marne have participated in diverse pedagogical workshops. They have exchanged with actors of the Cité du Developpement Durable and the cyclists from the Tour Alernatiba on their actions and positive impacts.

Then, from 5:30pm-8:30pm, welcome to outside participants, in a positive dynamic aimed at collectively creating a better world. The evening line-up included : the Promise Tree (l'Arbre de l'Engagement), creativity and innovation workshops, inspiring conferences... The evening have been followed by a friendly cocktail hour.

The Planetary Week for a Better World invites all those carrying out community or environmental actions to sign up and to reference, on this site, all of their initiatives related to resource preservation, the sharing of our way of being and on how to position ourselves positively in face of major planetary stakes.
